What We Offer

The DNAGedcom Client is a desktop application for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chromebook that brings all of your DNA research together in one place. The Client is the single, actively maintained DNAGedcom tool today — older programs (ADSA, JWorks, KWorks, GWorks) have been retired and their capabilities folded into the Client. See the FAQ for what replaced each one.

Service availability: Gathering from MyHeritage and GEDMatch is currently unavailable while we rebuild support for those services. A*, 23andMe, and FTDNA gathering all work normally. Previously gathered MyHeritage and GEDMatch data still works in the analysis tools.

Data Gathering

Download your DNA matches, shared segments, In-Common-With data, haplogroups, ethnicity estimates, and family trees from A*, 23andMe, FTDNA, MyHeritage, and GEDMatch.

DNA Clustering & Analysis

Organize your matches into ancestral groups using multiple clustering methods including the Warthen Interactive Cluster, Collins-Leeds Method, Shared Clustering, and Chromosome Matrix Analysis.

Family Tree Tools

Detect common ancestors across your matches' family trees, compare trees side by side, and search across all of your gathered kits by surname, ancestor, or individual.

Current Software

DNAGedcom Client ... is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chromebook with support for A*, 23andMe, and FTDNA gathering today. Support for MyHeritage and GEDMatch gathering is temporarily offline and will return in a future update.
